*NEW FORMULA* SunButter SPF50 Water Resistant Reef Safe Sunscreen
MAKING SUN SMART, ENVIRONMENTALLY SMART
** NEW IMPROVED FORMULA HAS ARRIVED **
Exciting news, we have tweaked and improved our much loved SPF50 sunscreen! The formula is now thicker making it heat resistant and better for traveling. Rather than transforming to a milky consistency in hot weather, your SunButter will now remain a rich butter, without losing spreadability. We have also improved the tins to be thicker with a deeper thread making them more durable, user friendly and reduce the chance of leakage.
From December 19th, all orders will be fulfilled with our new formula. Thank you to all SunButter lovers who have supported our journey. We plan to lead the suncare industry to a more sustainable future so we're prepared for the tweak to never end!
PROTECT OCEANS, AND YOU
Our oceans are under threat from pollution and regular sunscreens are a big part of the problem! Whilst providing your skin with UV protection, the chemicals are also killing corals, causing toxic build-up in marine mammal tissues, and putting a strain on our ocean’s ecosystems.
This may come as a surprise to you as chemical sunscreen is a potent but virtually invisible pollutant. Nevertheless, it’s toxic effects are being documented deep into our ecosystems around the world! The SunButter team has witnessed many of these whilst working on the oceans as marine biologists. This is why they have dedicated themselves to fighting against such pollutants and harmful products by creating this reef-safe Sunscreen formula, packaged plastic free.
Going natural with your sunscreen doesn’t mean you sacrifice sufficient protection from harmful UV rays. Using sustainably sourced natural ingredients, SunButter has created a sunscreen formula that is SPF 50 certified, broad spectrum coverage, 100% vegan plant-based and chemical-free.
We don’t need to use chemicals to create great Sunscreen!
MADE FOR YOU
By using SunButter’s chemical-free, all-natural vegan Sunscreen you will also be doing your body a favour. Those greasy chemical formulas you’ll find in regular sunscreens are designed to be absorbed into your skin and end up entering your bloodstream. This causes irritation, breakouts, and in worst-case situations, can even cause chemical burns!
SunButter’s reef-safe sunscreen was created to provide our planet, and us, with a SunSmart solution for the future. The sunscreen is made with certified sustainable ingredients and broad spectrum UVA and UVB mineral blocker zinc oxide, which lends superior restorative and nurturing qualities for all skin types, even sensitive and/or weathered skin. This moisturizing sunscreen will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and protected from the elements.
